6- Grid-based fluid-structure and magneto-hydrodynamics simulations
A goal of this application package is it to make the coupled simulations,performed with MpCCI, Grid-compatible. Most modern Grid platforms will be used, in order to offer to the user an as simple and at the same time consistent as possible view and access to the required:
. Model and simulation data,
. Simulation tools and corresponding available licenses,
. Communication mechanisms,
. Computer resources and interconnect capacitances as well as
. virtual work and co-operation environments
In contrast to the current functioning with MpCCI, in which the user must always indicate a concrete identification of all resources to be used, the system is to assume this task in the future Grid-compatible version. Thereby the possibility is to be given to the users,cooperating with each other, to be able to reconcentrate more strongly on its actual engineering problem.
