2007/09 Update on Akogrimo Training Activities (D8.1.2)
Description: Activity 8 of Akogrimo is devoted to provide training related to achieved concepts, technologies, and results. This activity specifically focuses on academia, providing courses on Akogrimo concepts and results, and industry, providing courses on Akogrimo application. Deliverable D8.1.2 updated the training activities and related events that have taken place from month 22 of the project until the end. Earlier training activities were described in deliverable D8.1.1. In this period, training has focused on explaining the main results and contributions of the project, both from an academia and from an industry point of view, taking into account potential practitioners of the Akogrimo platform.

2007/06 Consolidated Report on the Implementation of the Infrastructure Services Layer (D4.3.4)
Description: This deliverable describes the design and implementation of the services that belong to the WP4.3 Grid Infrastructure Services Layer of Akogrimo, the architecture of which was presented in D4.3.1. That layer defines a service-oriented architecture which consists of a set of services capable of providing core Grid functionality. Its capabilities include issues such as semantic service discovery, advance reservation, execution management, data management, monitoring, SLA enforcement, policy management, metering, and others.

2007/06 Consolidated Report on the Implementation of the Application Support Services Layer (D4.4.4)
Description: Document D4.4.4 assumes a general understanding of Akogrimo's concepts and a high level knowledge of Grid Application Support Service layer architecture (see D.3.1.3 and D4.4.1). It describes the final release of the Akogrimo Grid Application Support Service (GASS) prototype. All the implemented components are described including interfaces and involved technologies. Starting from the requirements introduced by the Akogrimo demonstrator, the WP4.4 participants have updated the existing implementation in order to provide an infrastructure able to operate the demonstration phase.

2007/06 Consolidated Network Service Provisioning Concept (D4.1.4)
Description: Document D4.1.4 presents the evolution of the Network Layer Architecture described in D4.1.1. After laying the basis for this architecture and corroborating the design by means of a first implementation while taking into account the commission's feedback on the previous work, a redesign to polish some architecture aspects was undertaken and summarized in D4.1.3. This document is an evolution of D4.1.3, with an improved security section, general updates to some components reflecting changes made to Akogrimo's architecture either due to feedback from the various demonstrations performed or to new requirements from the Disaster Handling and Crisis Management scenario.

2007/06 Consolidated Integrated Services Design and Implementation Report (D4.2.4)
Description: The document describes the functionality implemented as part of the network middleware layer of the Akogrimo architecture. It is an update of [D4.2.3] Final Integrated Services Design and Implementation Report. The software implemented and described here is provided by Work Package 4.2, and is part of Akogrimo's integrated prototype [D5.1.2]. The document particularly focusses on: requirements; interface description; design and implementation; testing.
The network middleware layer provides functions to the upper layers, allowing Akogrimo to present enhancements to the standard GRID architecture (i.e. OGSA). Specifically, the network middleware layer offers: cross layer A4C; service registration and discovery for Grid services and local services; presence, identity and context management.
