This year’s Concertation Meeting is co-organised by the SIMDAT project, following the EC – FP6 IST Call 5 Information Day on "Grid Technologies" on 30 May, 2005, and the Open Debate on "Building a European Research Area for Grids and a Competitive Market Place for Grid Services" on 31 May, 2005.
The Concertation Meeting will provide for plenary and parallel technology and collaboration task sessions. The 8 Technology Sessions will focus on common technologies and challenges across projects, supporting creation of synergies, reusing designs and software components, and avoiding duplication of work.
Purpose of the Collaboration Task Sessions is to conclude discussions within the restructured (6) collaboration tasks and to agree on detailed implementation workplans, refining roles, responsibilities, resources and deadlines across projects. |
