|More than 90 attendees from industry and academia enjoyed the public demonstration of the final prototype of Akogrimo yesterday in Madrid at the University Politecnica Madrid (UPM).|
The complex prototype demonstrated involved more than 25 nodes distributed over Europe and connected using IPv6. The chosen showcase in the area of Disaster Handling and Crisis Management (DHCM) demonstrated clearly the benefit of the developed solution for handling such a crisis.
The solution is implemented using different off the shelf Grid toolkits such as Globus Toolkit 4 and WSRF.NET. The used Akogrimo components covering integration of SIP based communication with SOA, context propagation and management, adapative semantic workflows to name a few will be made available in the next weeks on the recently opened presence of Akogrimo on SourceForge.
